Why can't we just race right now?

The way the server works is that certain players get the Racer role, which means that they're trusted enough to choose enjoyable races, get everyone to join in and generally make a good time for everyone.

If nobody with this role is around, no official racing will be had. This may seem a little lame, but think about how badly someone could mess up a race! 99 laps of North Loop in surfer vans… it makes me shudder, really. Plus, hosts for races can really screw up the game on a technical level because this is an alpha. Maybe if you play enough, you can get upgraded and host cool races!
