-A modkit is the data that controls what addons, upgrades, liveries, etc. can be applied to a car. For a car to have it's own custom parts other than normal performance upgrades, it must have a modkit. Before the Doomsday update to GTA Online, the base game had 255 modkits to use, with the majority taken up by vehicles in the base game. Now the base game has support for up to 1024 modkits, which means practically limitless potential for new, fully customizable cars. As soon as FiveM updates to the Doomsday version of GTA V we will have access to this feature. +
